Why it is on the platform
Cold chain is roughly a fifth of the delivered cost of a vaccine dose in low-infrastructure markets. Removing it is a cost argument before it is a humanitarian one — which is what makes it fundable.
Traction
- Three model antigens stable for 26 weeks at 30 °C.
- Joint feasibility programme with a mid-size European vaccine producer.
- Priority patent filed on the excipient family.
Use of funds
- Extend the panel to mRNA and viral-vector formats.
- GMP-compatible process definition.
- Two paid feasibility programmes with manufacturers.
