Why it is on the platform
Alpine irradiance is higher and colder than the conditions standard modules are optimised for. HELIOSTAT is one of very few teams treating that as a design target rather than an edge case.
Traction
- 27.4% cell efficiency verified at an independent test institute.
- Two alpine pilot installations running since the 2025-26 winter season.
- Letter of intent from a Valais grid operator for a 4 MW deployment.
- Four granted patents on the encapsulation stack.
Use of funds
- Pilot line for 60×120 cm modules.
- IEC 61215 certification campaign.
- First two commercial installations in Valais and Grisons.
